HVN - Vietnam airlines benefit from increased service fees

Since June, Vietjet Air and Jetstar have increased their system administration fees by VND70,000 - 260,000 per ticket.
Jetstar has announced to its agents that it will adjust its System Administration Fee (YR) for domestic flights. Accordingly, the company will apply the new YR fee is 210,000 dong (excluding VAT), up 70,000 compared with the previous. This will be applied from 4/6.

According to Vietjet Air, the new system administration fee will be raised to VND 210,000 - 370,000 per ticket, up from VND 100,000 to VND 130,000 per ticket. here.

With domestic flights, the price will increase from 140,000 to 210,000 dong a ticket. Several flights from Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City to destinations in the region increased the system administration fee by 100,000 VND per ticket.

The highest increase was in Ho Chi Minh City - Singapore. Previously, the company did not charge system administrators but from a sixth of the collection would be 260,000.

VnExpress's survey showed that with the increase, the price of air tickets of the two firms also increased by VND70,000-260,000 a ticket.

Domestic flight change fees also increased from VND 352,000 to VND 374,000, international flight date changed from VND 670,000 to VND 800,000 each way plus fare difference. Vietjet's pre-seat service fee also increased from 30,000 to 60,000 VND, depending on the type of seat.

The price of passenger services and security at airports has also been increased by VND 5,000 from April 1.
